How It Works
1. Apply โ Download the Shiphustle app, create an account, and submit your courier application with your company details and documentation.
2. Get Approved โ Our team reviews your application. Once approved, configure your business: pricing, depots, delivery zones, and banking details.
3. Start Delivering โ Orders are assigned to you automatically. Receive packages at your South African depot, handle customs, and deliver to customers.
Requirements
Business
- Registered company or sole proprietorship in your country of operation.
- Valid VAT registration number for customs and tax compliance.
- Physical depot in South Africa where goods can be received from suppliers.
- Business bank account for receiving courier payments.
Compliance
- Ability to handle all customs clearance and border paperwork for exported goods.
- Upload waybills, export declarations, and proof of delivery for every shipment.
- Pay import VAT on behalf of the customer at the destination border using funds provided.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in South Africa and the destination country, including transport, customs, and trade regulations.
Service Levels
- Goods must leave South Africa within the platform-configured deadline after receipt at your depot.
- Documents must be uploaded promptly at each stage of the order workflow.
- Respond to customer and admin messages within a reasonable timeframe.
- Packages must be handled with care. Damaged or lost goods are your responsibility.
Courier Agreement
By submitting your application, you agree to the following:
- You operate as an independent contractor, not an employee of Shiphustle.
- You will sign and adhere to the Shiphustle Courier Partner Agreement, covering service standards, liability, payment terms, and termination conditions.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date company information, pricing, and depot details.
- Shiphustle may revoke your courier status if you violate the agreement, fail to meet service levels, or receive consistently poor customer ratings.
- Shiphustle may reassign orders to another courier if service issues arise.

Application Details
Your application will ask for:
- Company name, country of operation, and VAT number.
- Public contact details: phone, email, WhatsApp (optional), website (optional).
- Internal supervisor contact (visible only to Shiphustle administrators).
Applications are typically reviewed within 7 business days.
