How do I order products from Amazon, Takealot or Makro using the app?

Simply find the product you want on Amazon SA, Takealot or Makro — either on their website or app. Copy the product link and paste it into Shiphustle, or use the “Share To” feature to send it directly to the app. We’ll show you the product details and price. Add it to your cart, checkout, and we’ll buy it on your behalf and arrange delivery to you.

Do I need an Amazon, Takealot or Makro account to order products from the app?

No. You do not need an account on any of these stores. Shiphustle purchases the products on your behalf — all you need is a Shiphustle account.

What happens when a product becomes unavailable after I have paid?

If a product becomes unavailable after you’ve paid and before we complete the purchase, you will receive a refund. A SARS-compliant credit note is generated automatically and made available in your order details.

How long does a refund take to reflect in my account?

Refunds are processed via Paystack to your original payment method. It can take up to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.

Can I change products after paying?

No. Once payment is confirmed, the order is submitted for procurement and cannot be modified. Please make sure you’ve selected the correct product, size, colour and quantity before checking out.

How can I contact you or the courier?

You can reach us directly through the in-app messaging feature. Each order has a dedicated chat where you can communicate with both the Shiphustle team and your assigned courier. We also display the courier’s contact details on your order once a courier has been assigned.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order if the purchase has not yet been made with the retailer (Amazon, Takealot or Makro). Platform fees are non-refundable, and the remaining refund will be processed within 10 business days. Once the product has been purchased from the retailer, the order cannot be cancelled.

Can I get my order delivered to my doorstep?

This depends on your courier. The app supports both door-to-door delivery and depot collection. When you place an order, you’ll see the delivery options available from your assigned courier, including whether they offer doorstep delivery to your area.
