How It Works
Three steps from application to your first delivery.

Apply
Download the app, create an account, and open the courier application. Enter your company and contact details and accept the courier agreements.
STEP 2
Get Approved
Our team reviews your application. Once approved, your account is upgraded to a courier and the Courier Console unlocks in the app.
STEP 3
Set Up & Deliver
Configure your pricing, depots and delivery zones, add your banking details, then receive packages, handle customs and deliver across the border.
What You’ll Need
To apply, you’ll provide your details and accept a short set of operating commitments.
Your details
- Company name and the destination country you want to serve.
- Public contact phone and email (shown to customers on your profile).
- An internal supervisor name and phone (seen only by Shiphustle admins).
- Optional: WhatsApp number and a website or tracking URL.
Your commitments
- Operate a physical depot in South Africa where goods can be received.
- Handle all customs clearance and border paperwork for exported goods.
- Upload waybills, customs declarations and proof of delivery for every shipment.
- Pay import VAT at the destination border using funds provided.
- Get goods out of South Africa within the platform export deadline.
No documents or banking details are needed to apply — you’ll add your bank account for payouts after you’re approved.

Invite owners, managers and viewers with fine-grained, per-section and per-country permissions.
Shipments & batches
Move orders through cross-border shipments and last-mile dispatch batches with secure PIN handovers.
Analytics & SLAs
Track revenue, completed orders and ratings, set transit-time SLAs, and get automated performance reports.
In-app messaging
Chat with customers and admins on each order, with escalation alerts for anything that gets stuck.
Your responsibilities
What’s Expected of You
You operate as an independent partner. To keep your courier status active, you’re expected to:
- Receive goods at your SA depot and get them across the border within the export deadline.
- Upload the required documents at each stage — waybills, customs declarations and proof of delivery.
- Handle customs clearance and pay import VAT at the border using provided funds.
- Keep your pricing, depots and contact details accurate and up to date.
- Handle packages with care and respond to customer and admin messages promptly.
Shiphustle may reassign orders or revoke courier status if service levels or the courier agreement aren’t met.
